Attack on Germany’s Wonder Weapon: Russia Destroys Leopard 2 Tanks

The Leopard 2 tanks from Germany were linked with high expectations in Ukraine. However, it seems that Russia is now specifically exploiting a vulnerability, as the German news website merkur.de reports.

Even though the war in Ukraine has been particularly costly for Russia in recent months, Putin’s troops appear to have made progress in combating the Leopard 2 tanks. For this purpose, Russia is using drone pilots who can specifically target the tank’s weak spots, provided that they approach from an optimized angle. In addition to drones, Russia is also deploying smaller quadcopters in the fight against the German tank.

The Leopard 2 tank is a tank produced in Germany. It has been in series production since 1978 and is the successor to the Leopard 1.

These claims have not yet been independently verified and/or confirmed. For this reason, they should be considered with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread false information in order to strengthen their own position or to weaken that of the opponent.
