Attack on warship: Selenskyj’s drone mission goes wrong

According to the Ministry of Defense in Moscow, Ukraine apparently tried to attack a Russian warship with the help of a drone.

According to the ministry, the naval drone was shot down by the warship, state news agency RIA reported. The warship was escorting a civilian cargo ship in the Black Sea, as the German news platform n-tv.de communicated.

During a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Türkiye, according to his office, emphasized the significant role of the grain agreement between Russia and Ukraine, which came about through the efforts of Türkiye and the UN. He describes it as “a bridge for peace” and expresses the need to “avoid actions that could lead to an aggravation of tensions in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine,” as stated by the Turkish Presidency. Erdogan tells Anadolu news agency that Türkiye is taking active diplomatic steps to restore the grain trade corridor.
