Attack with a Fighter Jet: Russia Destroys Civilian Ship in the Black Sea

According to reports from the Ukrainian army, Russia has attacked a cargo ship flying the flag of the West African Republic of Liberia in one of the Black Sea ports in the Odesa region.

According to a statement from the Southern Military Command, a Ukrainian pilot on board the ship was killed in this attack. Three Filipino crew members and a Ukrainian port worker were injured, as reported by the German news website n-tv.de. It is reported that a Russian fighter jet fired a Kh-31P type missile at the civilian freighter as it was entering one of the ports. The exterior and interior images of the ship published by the military show the debris and other consequences of the impact.
