Bombing: Russian intelligence officer killed

A Russian intelligence officer was killed in the town of Oleshky in Ukraine’s Kherson oblast. This reports the German news paper merkur.de with reference to Ukrainska Pravda and a corresponding video purporting to show the explosion.

Ukrainska Pravda cites the video and Ukrainian military officials in its report. In addition to the killed intelligence officer, four other Russian military personnel were injured in the explosion, it said. One of the passengers was said to be in critical condition. In the video, a silver car can be seen driving down a road. After a few seconds, a loud bang is heard and the camera image is blurred.
