The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on November 7 that Russia has lost 306,860 soldiers since the beginning of its comprehensive invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. This is reported by The Kyiv Independent via X (formerly Twitter).
This number includes 890 Russian fatalities among the armed forces in the last 24 hours alone. Additionally, within one day, five tanks, 16 armored vehicles, and two multiple launch rocket systems were destroyed.
According to the report, Russia has accordingly lost a total of 5,293 tanks, 9,974 armored combat vehicles, 9,767 vehicles and fuel tanks, 7,410 artillery systems, 869 multiple launch rocket systems, 570 air defense systems, 322 aircraft, 324 helicopters, 5,557 drones, and 20 boats.
These claims have not yet been independently verified and/or confirmed. For this reason, they should be considered with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for the parties involved to deliberately spread false information in order to strengthen their own position or weaken the opponent’s.
