249,700 soldiers lost, including 590 in just one day! Russia’s military losses are increasing rapidly – the impressive figures in detail.
According to a report by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces cited by The Kyiv Independent, Russia has lost a total of 249,700 soldiers since launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24 of the previous year. That figure included 590 casualties Russia suffered the day before that report was published alone, it said.
The Kyiv Independent further reports that Russia has additionally suffered significant losses of military equipment. According to the report, these include 4,237 tanks, 8,262 armored combat vehicles and 7,441 various vehicles and fuel tanks. It also said 4,965 artillery systems, 705 multiple rocket systems, 466 air defense systems and 315 aircraft were lost. Also, The Kyiv Independent cites, 311 helicopters, 4,126 drones and 18 boats are no longer in the inventory of the Russian armed forces.
