On November 29, the Russian air defense reportedly shot down an attack drone en route to the Russian capital Moscow, as reported by The Kyiv Independent, citing Moscow’s Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
Specifically, the hostile drone was shot down at 7:30 AM local time over Podolsk, approximately 20 kilometers south of Moscow. There were no casualties or damages at the site of impact, Sobyanin reports.
On November 26, Ukraine had attacked Russia with about 35 drones. It was a response to a Russian mass attack with Shahed drones the day before. Russia is conducting a war of aggression against Ukraine.
These claims have not yet been independently verified or confirmed. Therefore, they should be considered with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread false information to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the enemy.
