Fatal Error Leads to Huge Fireball: Russia Destroys Its Own Tanks

Russia made a mistake in its war of aggression against Ukraine. A “vehicle bomb” did not work as intended and exploded too early, as reported by German news website merkur.de.

Russia uses “vehicle bombs” in its war against Ukraine – a kamikaze mission where outdated vehicles are loaded with explosives and then remotely steered towards Ukrainian positions. Merkur.de refers to a video showing a Russian T-54 tank going up in flames in the Marjinka region after hitting a landmine.

In one case, it was an MT-LB, an armored personnel carrier, that was meant to take this final journey. No people were on board except for the driver, who jumps out of the vehicle in time. However, after the person ran away, passing by dead military vehicles with smoke rising from them, the explosion occurred. The personnel carrier turned into a huge fireball, far away from its actual target. The cause was supposedly a landmine that detonated the two tons of TNT onboard the vehicle.
