France supplies Ukraine with over 150 drones

Over 150 drones were delivered by the French drone manufacturer Delari, which were financed by the French government.

This was announced by the French Minister of Defense Sebastien Lecornu, according to the The Kyiv Independent an. Lecornu said Ukraine selected the drones itself, without naming the model. Delair is one of the world’s leading drone manufacturers, offering unmanned fixed-wing aircraft for border surveillance, reconnaissance, as well as intelligence and the like. According to the company’s website, its drones have already been used by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Ukraine, local forces in Niger and the French army. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said France had joined the international coalition to train Ukrainian pilots on the F-16 fighter jet. Selenskyj and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron during a phone conversation explained Ukraine’s military needs and France’s possible participation in strengthening security in Odessa oblast.

Like The Kyiv Independent reported, the Ukrainian think tank State Watch has identified at least 32 influential pro-Russian politicians and tycoons spreading pro-Russian views in Ukraine. Since the war began, the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), chaired by President Volodymyr Zelensky, has imposed sanctions on more than 5,500 organizations and 6,000 individuals. According to the Ministry of Justice, 250 of them have assets in Ukraine. However, so far the state has seized the assets of only 26 sanctioned individuals.
