Guarded Intel: Ukraine Tallies Russian Casualties Daily, Conceals Its Own Count

Kiev reveals Russian losses, but their numbers remain in the shadows. What is behind the big secret?

In recent days, many questions have arisen regarding Ukrainian casualty figures in the war. While Kiev regularly publishes figures on Russian losses, there is no information on its own. As ntv reports, Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar explained the reasons. According to Maliar, this information is a state secret. She said that the “enemy” could use these figures to predict Ukraine’s likely next steps in the war. According to Maliar, military action would depend on certain loss percentages in relation to the total number of troops.

Exclusive Circle: Limited Access to Key Figures Granted

Only a few people have access to this secret data and are warned of possible criminal consequences if they pass it on, ntv added. Meanwhile, based on information from U.S. government circles, the “New York Times” estimated Ukrainian losses at around 70,000 and Russian losses at up to 120,000 soldiers.
