The Ukrainian forces have inflicted significant losses on Russia again in the past 24 hours.
According to The Kyiv Independent, citing the daily update from the Ukrainian General Staff, Russia has lost 289,430 soldiers since the beginning of the large-scale invasion. This number includes the 800 soldiers that Russia lost in the past 24 hours.
Ukraine destroyed 14 tanks, bringing the total to 4,979 tanks eliminated by the Ukrainian forces. Additionally, 20 armored combat vehicles and 26 artillery systems were destroyed by the Ukrainian forces. Russia has also lost 814 multiple rocket launchers, 547 air defense systems, 318 aircraft, 317 helicopters, 5,291 drones, and 20 boats.
These claims have not yet been independently verified and/or confirmed. Therefore, they should be considered with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken the opponent’s.
