Heavy blow: Ukraine destroys Putin’s “Triumf”

Ukraine has dealt a serious blow to Russia. This is reported by Jason Jay Smart, correspondent of the Kyiv Post, via the network X, formerly Twitter. He refers to data from Russian media.

Smart writes on the short news service: “Ukraine destroys Russian weapons: Russian media report that Ukraine has destroyed an S-400 “Triumf,” a missile system. The cost for a division of four aircraft is $1,250,000,000.” To that end, Smart posts aerial footage of a suspected Russian base. It shows the base on Aug. 10 and Aug. 27. On August 27, it looks almost completely destroyed.

The S-400 Triumf, known to NATO as the SA-21 Growler, is a long-range surface-to-air missile system developed and produced in the Soviet Union to combat fighters and cruise missiles at all altitudes. It can also intercept short- and medium-range ballistic missiles.

Since the beginning of the Ukrainian counteroffensive, Ukraine has repeatedly targeted and destroyed Russian military equipment. It may be part of a deeper tactic to further weaken the Russian aggressor.
