Heavy blow: Ukraine destroys Russian air defense system

In the last few hours, Ukraine has destroyed a Russian anti-aircraft system. This is reported by The Kyiv Independent, citing the morning update of the Ukrainian General Staff.

According to Ukraine, Russia has lost 350 of its soldiers in the last 24 hours. This brings the total Russian losses since the escalation of the war of aggression in February 2022 to 282,630. Russia has also lost military equipment, including 9,126 (+3) armed vehicles, 9,113 (+2) vehicles / tankers, 4,823 (2) tanks, 6,706 (+1) artillery systems, 5,190 drones, 808 multiple rocket launchers, 315 aircraft, 316 helicopters, 1,530 cruise missiles, 543 (+1) anti-aircraft systems, 959 pieces of military specialized equipment, 20 boats, and a submarine.

Ukraine rarely provides information on its own losses in the war.

These figures have not yet been verified and/or confirmed by an independent party. Therefore, they should be considered with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread false information to strengthen their own position or weaken the opponent’s.
