Ukraine says it has taken out hundreds of Russian soldiers in just a few hours. This reports The Kyiv Independent referring to the morning update of the Ukrainian General Staff.
According to the report, Russia has lost 540 soldiers within the last 24 hours. This brings Russian losses to a total of 254,920 since the escalation of Russian aggression began in late February 2022, according to Ukrainian accounts, in addition to 4,313 tanks, 8,370 armed/armored vehicles, 7,584 vehicles or tankers, 5,128 artillery systems, 714 multiple rocket launchers, 482 air defense systems, 315 aircraft, 314 helicopters, 4,242 drones, and 18 boats (as of August 15, 2023).
