In just a few hours: Russia loses hundreds of soldiers

In just a few hours, Russia has lost hundreds of soldiers. This reports The Kyiv Independent with reference to the daily update of the Ukrainian General Staff.

According to Ukraine, Russia has lost 540 of its soldiers within the last 24 hours. This brings Russia’s total losses since the start of the war of aggression in violation of international law in late February 2023 to 247,230, according to Ukraine’s account, in addition to another 4,217 tanks, 8,213 armed or armored vehicles, 7,349 vehicles and tankers, 4,866 artillery systems, 700 multiple rocket launchers, 463 air defense systems, 315 aircraft, 311 helicopters, 4,042 drones and 18 boats.

This information comes from a party to the conflict and has not yet been independently verified and/or confirmed. For this reason, they are to be evaluated with reservations. In war, it may be advantageous for parties to the conflict to make falsified statements about the course of the war in order to strengthen their own position or to further weaken that of the enemy.
