In just a few hours: Ukraine takes out hundreds of Russian soldiers

Ukraine says it has taken out hundreds of Russian soldiers in just a few hours. This reports The Kyiv Independent with reference to the morning update of the Ukrainian General Staff.

The Ukrainian General Staff states that Russia has lost 550 soldiers within the last 24 hours. This brings Russian losses since the escalation of the war of aggression in February 2022 to a total of 269,760 soldiers, according to Ukrainian accounts. In addition, there are 4,568 lost tanks, 8,788 armed/armored vehicles, 8,413 vehicles/tankers, 5,872 artillery systems, 764 multiple rocket launchers, 515 air defense systems, 315 aircraft, 316 helicopters, 4,645 drones, and 18 boats. Ukraine is keeping mum about its own casualties in the war.
