Ukraine says it has taken out hundreds of Russian soldiers in a matter of hours. This reports The Kyiv Independent with reference to the morning update of the Ukrainian General Staff.

Ukraine has taken out over 600 Russian soldiers in the last 24 hours. This brings Russian losses since the Kremlin escalated its war of aggression in February 2022 to a total of 264,660 troops, according to Ukrainian accounts. In addition, military equipment, including 4,476 tanks, 8,694 armed/armored vehicles, 8,102 vehicles and tankers, 5,582 artillery systems, 739 multiple rocket launchers, 502 air defense systems, 315 aircraft, 316 helicopters, 4,444 drones and 18 boats are destroyed.
