Intelligence: Destructive attack on military base in Moscow

Unknown saboteurs attacked military targets in the Russian regions of Moscow and Kaluga on the night of September 24, according to Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR).

According to HUR, one tanker truck was destroyed at a military base in the Naro-Fominsky district of Moscow oblast, and four vehicles with trailers were destroyed at another base in the city of Kaluga. No further details were provided.

Earlier, the governor of Russia’s Kursk oblast, Roman Starovoit, stated that a drone had hit an administrative building in the regional capital. However, Ukrainian media Ukrainska Pravda, UNIAN and Hromadske, citing their sources, reported that the drone had hit a building of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).

Ukrainska Pravda, citing intelligence sources, confirmed that it was a Ukrainian operation. The Ukrainian government has not yet claimed official responsibility for the attack, as The Kyiv Independent reports.

This information comes from a party to the conflict and has not yet been independently verified / confirmed. For this reason, the report must be evaluated with reservations.
