According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian forces have made confirmed territorial gains in the northeast at the front between Kupiansk, Svatove, and Kreminna.
The Institute for the Study of War also reports “minor” territorial advances by Ukraine in the Kherson region on the eastern bank of the Dnipro, about 30 kilometers northeast of the city of Kherson near Krynky. In the contested Bakhmut region, attacks by both parties were recorded, but no confirmed territorial gains were reported, as stated by the German news website n-tv.de.
Furthermore, Ukraine appears to be intensifying its attacks on military and logistical targets behind the front lines in Russia. This is evident from the latest situation report by the U.S. think tank Institute for the Study of War (ISW) on the situation in Ukraine. These attacks extend to Russian targets both within occupied Ukraine and in Russia itself.
The ISW uses publicly available sources for its daily reports and analysis.
