The Ukrainian forces have expanded their advances to the left bank of the Dnipro River in the southern Ukrainian oblast of Kherson, as reported by the Institute for the Study of War.
According to Russian military bloggers, Ukraine has reinforced its positions on the left bank and positioned about 400 soldiers near the settlement of Krynky in Kherson. In October, Ukrainian naval units crossed the Dnipro and established a firm bridgehead on the left side of the river, as reported by the German news website n-tv.de. Currently, the troops are fighting to expand this bridgehead. Ukrainian drones are attacking Russian air defenses and disrupting radio signals along the river, hoping to make further advances in this geographically challenging region. Both Ukrainian and Russian forces continue their confrontations in the Kherson oblast, despite deteriorating weather conditions in the area.
These claims have not yet been verified and/or confirmed by independent sources. Therefore, they should be considered with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the enemy.
