Kyiv: Russian Soldiers Killing Each Other

According to assessments from Kyiv, Russian soldiers are killing each other. This is reported by n-tv.de, referring to The Kyiv Post and military and security services.

“The fact is that the Russians do not allow their soldiers to surrender,” says Oleksandr Stupun, spokesman for the Taurida Armed Forces. “There have even been cases where Russian drones killed their own wounded.” Andrij Yosov, a spokesman for the Ukrainian intelligence service SBU, states that such incidents have been “repeatedly recorded,” “including by Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance.” One possible reason is that Russia is responding to the fact that “quite a few” of its soldiers are willing to surrender to Ukrainian custody. It is seen as a tactic of “terror and intimidation.”

These reports have not been independently verified or confirmed. Therefore, they should be treated with caution. In times of war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the opponent.
