Massive Fire: Russian Ammunition Depot Explodes

In the Russian-occupied city of Donetsk, an explosion occurred at an oil depot, as reported by the German news website n-tv.de.

According to reports, it is believed that the explosion was triggered by shelling from Ukraine. Neither Ukraine nor Russia has commented on the incident so far. The exact extent of the damage and potential injuries are unclear. Near Donetsk, Ukraine maintains positions and regularly carries out shelling against the city.

On the other hand, according to the Governor of Odessa, Russia is attacking port infrastructure in the Danube area with drones at night. During the two-hour attack, most of the drones were shot down, but some got through, the governor reports. A warehouse, an elevator, and a truck were hit, resulting in the death of a driver. Recently, the frequency of such attacks on Ukraine’s grain export infrastructure has decreased, as reported by the German news website n-tv.de.

These claims have not yet been independently verified and/or confirmed. Therefore, they should be treated with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken the opponent’s.
