The Kyiv Independent reports, citing Oleksandr Pavlyuk, the Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine, that Ukraine has inflicted significant losses on Russia in the past week.
According to the report, Ukraine has defeated 7,210 Russian soldiers and destroyed a total of 534 units in the last week. Since November 27, Russia has also lost 62 tanks, 117 armored personnel carriers, 75 artillery systems, six multiple rocket launchers, five air defense systems, 144 vehicles, and 27 units of special equipment, according to Pavlyuk. Since its large-scale offensive, Russia has lost a total of 332,040 soldiers, as per Ukraine’s claims.
These claims have not been independently verified or confirmed. Therefore, they should be treated with caution. In times of war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the opponent.
