More F-16 fighter jets for Ukraine: NATO should not become “war-weary”

Denmark plans to “expand and deepen” the coalition of countries committed to delivering F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, as reported by the German news website n-tv.de.

At the annual meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Copenhagen, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated, “As long as Ukrainians are willing to fight this war for our freedom, we should decide that there will be no war weariness within our transatlantic community.”

The F-16 is a single-seat combat aircraft with a fuselage length of about 15 meters and a wingspan of approximately nine meters. This American fighter jet has an empty weight of about 9,000 kilograms and can reach a top speed of Mach 2, which is approximately 2,100 kilometers per hour, as explained by the Bundeswehr.
