National Guard: Ukraine destroys Russian boat

In southern Ukraine, the Ukrainian National Guard has put out of action a Russian motorboat as the German news website n-tv.de reports.

According to Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported that a Russian motorboat was disabled. Klymenko shared in a Telegram post, “The enemy has lost at least five crewmen.”

The exact location of the incident is not mentioned in the message. A video posted by the minister shows a boat on a river being destroyed during an attack, with the footage coming from a drone.

This information comes from a party to the conflict and has not yet been independently verified / confirmed. For this reason, the report must be evaluated with reservations. In war, it can be advantageous for parties to make false statements about the course of the conflict in order to strengthen their own position or weaken the position of the opponent.
