On most dangerous front lines: “Storm-Z” troops are “just meat”

According to a report, there are units within the Russian army named “Storm-Z”. This was reported by the German news platform n-tv.de.

According to a report by the news agency Reuters, citing 13 informants including Storm-Z fighters and their relatives, these units consist of approximately 100 to 150 soldiers. It is reported that soldiers appearing drunk or disobedient, as well as convicts from prisons, are sent to these troops. These troops are mainly found on the most dangerous front lines, where they have to fight.

“They are just meat,” said a soldier who, according to the report, fought near Bakhmut in May and June about these stormtroopers. Another fighter recruited from prison reported significant losses in his unit in Bakhmut: out of the original 120 men, only 15 survived.
