“On their way to Crimea”: Russia destroys four US boats in the Black Sea

According to its own information, Russia has sunk four boats of the US manufacturer “Willard” in the Black Sea. The boats were carrying “landing troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces”, cites the German news website n-tv.de the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the boats were on their way to Cape Tarchankut on the coast of Crimea. Already on Wednesday, Russian forces fought off a similar attack. According to Moscow, four Ukrainian military boats with a total of 50 Ukrainian soldiers on board were sunk in the Black Sea in the process. Russia claims the Crimean peninsula, which it illegally annexed in 2014.
