Operation ‘Maidan 3’ – Zelenskyy Survives Russian Assassination Attempt

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, reports having survived several assassination attempts from Russia, as covered by the German news platform Münchner Merkur.

In a conversation with the British newspaper The Sun, he explained that the attacks on his life have been so numerous that he has lost count. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine nearly two years ago, there have been numerous attempts on the head of state’s life. When asked how many assassination attempts Russia had made, Zelenskyy replied: “I don’t know, I really don’t know. I think, not less than five, six… not less.”

He compared the assassination attempts to Covid-19. “The first time is very interesting, when it’s the first time, and then it’s like Covid,” said the Ukrainian President. “At first, people don’t know what to do with it, and it’s very frightening.” Later, it’s just intelligence information that another group has infiltrated Ukraine to make another attempt.

In the interview, Zelenskyy also claimed that Russia continues to try to depose him. The codename for the operation to overthrow him is “Maidan 3”. The end of this year is the timeframe for this alleged operation. Russia will use all available means for it.
