People are running away from Putin: Tens of thousands of soldiers desert

Russia is paying a high price for its illegal war of aggression, as new figures from the British Ministry of Defence suggest, reports German news website fr.de.

According to the information from London, more than 302,000 military personnel have been affected by the war. James Heappey, Minister for the Armed Forces, states: “We estimate that since the start of the conflict, about 302,000 Russian military personnel have been killed or wounded, and tens of thousands have already deserted.”

Ukraine has also released new figures on Russian losses. The report from November 15th states that Russia lost 820 of its soldiers in the last 24 hours. According to Ukrainian accounts, this brings the total Russian losses to 314,290.

It is important to note that these claims have not yet been independently verified or confirmed. Therefore, they should be viewed with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflict parties to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the opponent.
