Prigozhin in last video recording: “For those who discuss whether I am alive…”

The former leader of the Wagner mercenaries Jevgeni Prigozhin died in a plane crash a few days ago. Now a video has surfaced that is said to show him shortly before his death. This is reported by the media project NEXTA via the Network X.

On the short message service NEXTA writes: “The last video of Prigozhin: he was driving through Africa in an SUV with a window for fire protection. Ironically, in the recording he spoke about the rumors of his liquidation – and assured that everything was fine.” The following is a quote from Prigozhin: “For those who are debating whether or not I’m still alive, how I’m doing… It’s the weekend, the second half of August 2023, I’m in Africa. For those people who are discussing my liquidation, (…) my income or anything else, it’s actually all right.”

NEXTA classifies, “The video was probably recorded a few days before Prigozhin’s death. It is worth noting that the video’s metadata has been deleted.”

Although rumors persist that the mercenary chief may have faked his death, Prigozhin is “probably” dead, according to the UK Ministry of Defense.
