Putin Bombards from Crimea – But It Ends in Disaster

Russia has launched attacks from the illegally annexed Crimean Peninsula, as reported by The Kyiv Independent, citing the Ukrainian Air Force.

On December 4, Russia attacked with a total of 23 Shahed drones from Crimea. “The enemy attacked with 23 Shahed-136/131 combat drones from Cape Chauda on the occupied Crimea and a cruise missile from the airspace of the occupied Kherson region,” stated the Ukrainian Air Force. In addition to the Shahed drones, Russian forces also launched a cruise missile from the occupied territory of Kherson.

The Ukrainian Air Force successfully destroyed 18 drones and one Kh-59 cruise missile. Combat aircraft, anti-aircraft missiles, and mobile fire groups were deployed for defense.
