Putin pays a bloody price: Ukraine takes out hundreds of Russian soldiers

Russian President Vladimir Putin has lost hundreds of his soldiers in a short period of time. This reportsThe Kyiv Independent with reference to data from the General Staff of Ukraine (as of August 22, 2023).

According to Ukrainian accounts, Russia has lost 410 of its soldiers within the last 24 hours. This brings the total Russian losses since the escalation of Russia’s war of aggression on Ukraine at the end of February 2022 to 258,340. In addition, there is further Russian military equipment. This includes 4,362 tanks, 8,476 armed/armored vehicles, 7,722 vehicles or tankers, 5,295 artillery systems, 721 multiple rocket launchers, 491 air defense systems, 315 aircraft, 316 helicopters, 4,312 drones, and 18 boats. Ukraine is keeping quiet about its own losses in the Russian war of aggression.
