Putin pays high price: Ukraine takes out hundreds of Russian soldiers

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his army are paying a heavy price for the escalation of the war of aggression on Ukraine in February 2023. According to Ukraine, Russia lost hundreds of soldiers within a few hours.

Specifically, Russia is reported to have lost 640 soldiers in the last 24 hours. This reports The Kyiv Independent with reference to the morning update of the General Staff of Ukraine. This brings Russian losses since February last year to a total of 260,270, according to Ukrainian figures, in addition to other military equipment. Russia has lost 4,390 tanks, 8,539 armed/armored vehicles, 5,379 artillery systems, 726 multiple rocket launchers, 497 air defense systems, 315 aircraft, 316 helicopters, 4,367 drones, and 18 boats, according to Ukrainian data. As for its own losses, Ukraine is keeping mum.
