During the night the Ukrainian air force has shot down 13 kamikaze drones, as The Kyiv Independent reports.
During the night of August 15-16, 13 Russian Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones were shot down, according to a Ukrainian Air Force statement. “The Russian aggressor attacked our peaceful towns and villages with drones. The guardians of the sky destroyed 13 Shahed drones,” an Air Force spokesman said.
According to a late-night Air Force statement on August 15, a series of Shahed kamikaze drones were launched by Russia from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk air base in Krasnodar Krai. Of this total, 11 drones were shot down over Odessa oblast and two over Mykolaiv oblast, local authorities reported.
