Putin’s strategy has failed: “Shahed” attack ends in fiasco

Once again hostile drone attacks are reported from Ukraine as the German news website n-tv.de reports.

On Thursday night, according to the air forces in Kyiv, all 15 Shahed drones were shot down by Ukrainian air defense. In addition, seven Russian reconnaissance drones were destroyed. So far, no information is available on possible damage or casualties.

In addition, Russia says it has shot down six Ukrainian drones in the Kaluga region, which is about 200 kilometers southwest of the capital, Moscow. The Ministry of Defense in Moscow states that a “terrorist attack by the Kiev regime using drones” was foiled in Kaluga. On Thursday night, “six drones were shot down with the help of anti-aircraft systems” that had attempted to “cross the Kaluga region,” according to regional governor Vyacheslav Shapsha on Telegram. No casualties or damage have been reported.
