Russia blacklists British military chief

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, sanctions were imposed on an additional 23 British politicians, military officers, journalists, and scientists.

The most prominent name on the published list on the official website of the authority is the British military chief Toni Radakin, as the German news website n-tv.de reported. Media attribute to him an essential role in coordinating Western military aid to Ukraine.

Previously, Russia had already sanctioned significant sections of London’s political elite. Those who were blacklisted are now banned from entering Russia. Admiral Radakin had met with Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov shortly before the war broke out. According to information from London, Gerasimov assured him that Moscow was not preparing an invasion.
