Russia Has To Retreat: Then Crimea Will Be ‘untenable’ for Russia

A few weeks ago, it was revealed that Russia had to relocate some of its warships due to attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. US Army Lieutenant General Ben Hodges commented on this development, highlighting the support of Ukraine’s allies.

On the platform X, he writes: “The UAF’s attacks on naval logistics in Crimea have forced Russia to reposition some of its ships. This, after only three Storm Shadow missiles provided by the United Kingdom hit targets in Sevastopol. Imagine if the USA and DEU were to provide ATACMS and TAURUS. Crimea would be untenable for the RF armed forces.”

In October, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had spoken against such a delivery of German TAURUS missiles. German TAURUS cruise missiles have a range of over 500 kilometers.
