Russia, through the Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, has addressed the collective West and especially the United States. He threatens with nuclear escalation.
Patrushev states that the “destructive policy” of the USA and its allies increases the risk that nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons will be used. This is reported by German news website ntv.de, referring to the news agency Reuters. The Russian state news agency Tass quotes Patrushev: “The natural consequence of the destructive policy of the United States is the deterioration of global security. The risk of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons being used is increasing.”
Patrushev is considered a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The collective West, led by the USA, regularly supports Ukraine with financial and military aid. Together, they condemn Russia’s internationally illegal war of aggression against Ukraine.
