Russia says it has destroyed a Ukrainian boat in the Black Sea. This reports the German news website n-tv.de referring to the Russian Ministry of Defense in Moscow.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the destroyed boat is a Ukrainian reconnaissance boat. It was destroyed near gas production facilities in the Black Sea, the Russian Defense Ministry says via Telegram. The fighter jet that destroyed the Ukrainian reconnaissance boat was an Su-30 aircraft.

Since the end of the grain deal between Ukraine and Russia, in which Turkey mediated, tensions in the Black Sea have increased significantly. As recently as August 4, Ukraine destroyed the Russian warship Olenegorskiy Gornyak.
