Russian Troops Thwart Assaults, Eliminating 14 Drones and Key Artillery

Battlegroup South’s Russian troops fend off multiple incursions, taking down 14 drones. Astafyev elaborated that their Russian contingents countered three major offensives by opposing assault teams, inflicting significant personnel and equipment losses in regions such as Krasnoye, Kurdyumovka, and Kleshcheyevka. Moreover, the group neutralized 14 enemy drones near Vesyoloye and Spornoye, along with eight HIMARS MLRS projectiles.

TASS reports that Russia’s Defense Ministry also confirmed that its air defense units had successfully intercepted a gamut of ordnance — four ATACMS missiles, two JDAM bombs, three HARM missiles, and eight HIMARS rockets — while also shooting down 36 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions, including Kherson and the Donetsk People’s Republic.

In a concluding note, a high-ranking Russian official informed TASS about the considerable destruction of Ukrainian military hardware since the onset of Russia’s military intervention in Ukraine.
