Sharp setback for Putin: attack on Ukraine ends in total failure

According to reports, the Ukrainian forces successfully shot down 24 out of 29 Shahed kamikaze drones, as reported by the German news platform n-tv.de.

The Ukrainian Air Force shared this information on Facebook. Allegedly, the Shahed kamikaze drones were launched from Chauda in Crimea. These drones were shot down over the regions of Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Kirovohrad, as stated in the announcement. Serhii Bratchuk, a spokesperson for the military administration of Odessa, reported on Telegram that the attack also caused damage to the infrastructure. The attack resulted in a fire, which, however, was “quickly brought under control.”

These statements come from a party involved in the conflict and have not been independently verified or confirmed. Therefore, they should be considered with reservation. In times of war, it can be advantageous for parties involved in the conflict to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the opponent.
