“Smoke from all guns”: Russian arms manufacturer increases production

The production of some military equipment was increased by Russia by more than ten times. This was announced by the Russian arms manufacturer Rostec.

According to n-tv.de Russia has thus significantly increased the production of missiles, drones, combat aircraft and artillery. The industrial director of the defense complex at Rostec, the Russian state-owned corporation that controls much of the weapons industry, Bekhan Ozdoev, disclosed that production volumes for various types of weapons have increased by two to 10 times. And for some types of hardware, performance has increased “tenfold,” Ozdoev said. “We are moving forward at giant speed, smoke from all the guns,” he said. Furthermore, Rostec’s industrial director said there had been significant growth in the production of tanks, armored vehicles, rocket launchers, artillery, the Iskander short-range ballistic missile, the Pantsir medium-range surface-to-air missile system and the Kinschal hypersonic missile.

According to the report, Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund said that the Danish government plans to provide Ukraine with another 45 Leopard 1 main battle tanks and 15 T-72 main battle tanks.
