Success for Ukraine: Russian Black Sea Power Significantly Weakened

Securing the sea route for grain ships from Odessa is considered one of the most significant recent successes of the Ukrainian army in its defense against Russia.

At the same time, it has been achieved that recently no missile attacks from ships on Ukraine have taken place, as reported by the German news website n-tv.de. Due to pressure from Ukraine, Russia has moved the necessary ships to the east, to the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk. However, it is not possible there to load Kalibr cruise missiles, as explained by a spokesperson of the Ukrainian navy on television. For loading, the Russian ships would have to go to Sevastopol in Crimea, which, according to the spokesperson, is too dangerous for them.

These claims have not been independently verified or confirmed. Therefore, they should be viewed with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the enemy.
