Torn to Pieces: Ukraine Destroys Putin’s ‘Greyhound’

Ukraine may have achieved a coup against the Russian aggressor. A video is said to show how forces blow up a Russian Pantsir-S1. This is reported by the German news website merkur.de.

The Pantsir-S1 was reportedly destroyed near the village of Chaplynka, well behind the front lines in an area controlled by Russia. The attack was carried out with an M142-HIMARS drone.

For Russia, the loss of the Pantsir-S1 represents significant costs. One of these systems costs around 15 million US dollars. It is a Russian short-range air defense missile system, with the NATO codename SA-22-Greyhound, which translates to Greyhound.

These claims have not yet been independently verified and/or confirmed. For this reason, they should be considered with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread false information to strengthen their position or weaken the enemy’s.
