Triumph: Ukraine shoots down Russian “Frogfoot”

According to Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Ukraine has managed to shoot down a Russian Su-25 aircraft, also known as “Frogfoot.”

The commander of the Ukrainian troop group Tavria reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had shot down the aircraft. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has also picked up on this news, as reported by n-tv.de.

Furthermore, repelled attacks near Avdiivka are being reported. “Our troops are staunchly maintaining the defense in the Avdiivka sector,” Tarnavskyi writes on Telegram. According to the information, the Russian offensive has been unsuccessful in several areas. The General estimates the Kremlin troops’ losses within the past day in the area to be 360. In addition, six tanks, eleven armored personnel carriers, and seven artillery systems are said to have been destroyed.

These claims have not yet been independently verified and/or confirmed. Therefore, they should be viewed with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflict parties to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken the opponent’s.
