Ukraine Destroys Russian “Hurricane”

Ukraine has been able to strike another blow to the Russian military. As early as October 15, the X-channel, formerly Twitter, Noelreports posted a video that is supposed to show a Russian “Hurricane” being destroyed by Ukraine.

The video shows a field and meadow landscape, with a crosshair visible in the middle of the recording. A presumably Russian military equipment is targeted, believed to be the aforementioned “Hurricane”, and fired upon. An explosion occurs, followed by towering clouds of smoke. The attack was reportedly carried out by Ukraine using a HIMARS rocket launcher.

The term “Hurricane” is a name for the 9P140 Uragan, also known as BM-27. It is a multiple rocket launcher system that was developed and commissioned in the Soviet Union in the 1970s.

These statements have not yet been verified and / or confirmed by an independent side. For this reason, they are to be considered with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflict parties to deliberately spread false information to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the opponent.
