Ukraine observes Putin’s loss of control: ‘Russia’s fragmentation has begun’

Following the Kremlin’s report that Wagner mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigoshi died in a plane crash, Oleksiy Danilov, head of the National Security and Defense Council, sees the incident as the beginning of a transition of power in Russia. The reports the German website merkur.de.

In an interview with Radio Svoboda, Danilov said that one could see Russian President Vladimir Putin losing control of his country. The “fragmentation of Russia” have begun and is in full swing, he said. Danilov adds, “A lot of interesting things will happen there in the near future.” Danilov advises the West to prepare for developments. Russia, he is convinced, will one day be fragmented.
