Ukraine takes out hundreds of soldiers

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his army are paying a heavy price for the escalation of Russia’s war of aggression in February 2022, reports The Kyiv Independent with reference to the morning update of the General Staff of Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced that Russia has lost 276,990 soldiers in Ukraine since the start of its large-scale invasion on February 24 last year. This figure includes the 320 losses suffered by Russian forces in the last 24 hours alone, as reported by the General Staff.

According to the report, Russia also lost 4,675 tanks, 8,950 armored combat vehicles, 8,792 vehicles and fuel tanks, 6,337 artillery systems, 792 multiple rocket launchers, 534 air defense systems, 315 aircraft, 316 helicopters, 4,948 drones, and 20 warships or boats.
