Ukraine says it is making progress in its counteroffensive against the Russian aggressor, which has been underway for weeks. This reports the German news website n-tv.de with reference to statements of the Ukrainian brigadier general and commander of the troops deployed in the Zaporizhzhya region, Oleksander Tarnavskyi.
Via Telegram, Tarnavsky writes: “We are pushing back the enemy.” The Ukrainian general does not give concrete details, but only in the last few days Ukraine has broken a strong Russian defense line by capturing the town of Robotyne. The next step is probably the next Russian defense line blocking the occupied cities of Melitopol and Tokmak. The goal is to reach the Sea of Azov to cut off Russian troops from each other.
