Ukrainian intelligence: attack on Zelenskyy foiled

Ukraine’s domestic intelligence service, SBU, has foiled an attack on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This is reported by Sarah Ashton Cirillo, spokeswoman for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, via Twitter.

In a video lasting just under two minutes, she speaks out via the short message service. She refers to new details published by the SBU in the morning. The attack, which was planned on the Ukrainian president, was to take place during an impromptu trip to Mykolaiv. Cirillo refers to a woman who allegedly worked in a military supply store. She allegedly collaborated with and worked for FSB agents. She would now face 12 years in prison. Cirillo reiterated that Ukrainian President Zelenskyy was fine and safe. The arrest of the woman was carried out today, she said. It is planned to publish more information as soon as the situation is right.
